– How long have you been into synchronised swimming?

– It all started in the United States when I was 20 and now since I am 60 I am taking part in the Masters tournament.

– Why did you decide to compete in the 16th FINA World Masters Championships in Kazan?

– Sport is a life. It is never too late to stop doing it. Since swimming keeps me fresh I still perform in synchronised swimming event.

– Were you planning to take a gold medal home when you were about to come to Kazan?

– Yes, definitely. I have already gotten gold and I wanted to repeat that. And I am glad I could do it.

– Do you like Kazan?

– It is my first time here and I am looking forward to the competition being over so that I can see more of the city. Right now I’ve seen mainly the Athletes’ Village and the swimming pool. Everything is organised quite well here.
