For Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming and Open Water you must be at least 25 years old. You must consider the age at 31th December, 2015. Hence, everybody born in the year of 1990 or less can participate in these sports.
For Water Polo, minimum age is 30 years old (born in 1985 or less).
No, only people registered with clubs affiliated to the National Federation of the country can participate. You have to provide your Master affiliation card to complete the registration.

Spectators (accompanying persons) can either register and pay the fee to receive an accreditation valid for all the Championships and have the advantages provided with the accreditation.
The system allows you to come back to your profile anytime you want. You just have to login with your email and password to access your account. Then you will be able to make the additional registrations or change the information you want.
You can have only one account per person, so if you have the function of an athlete and coach, you have to register as an athlete. Your accreditation will give you all access to practice your coach function.

The registration was officially opened on February 17, 2015 and will close on June 30, 2015. No late entry will be allowed. However, Sport Entries registration will remain open until July 2, 2015 for people already registered.
Yes, if you want your children to receive an accreditation, they must be registered.
There are 4 main steps:

Yes, it is mandatory. You will not be able to register without an entry time compliant with the qualification standard.
The system allows you to come back to your profile anytime you want. You do not have to make all your entries at a time. You can come back and add, delete or change the events until June 15, 2015. However, no changes or additions will be accepted after the deadline of June 15, 2015.
Individual entries must be submitted and paid by June 15, 2015. However, you will have time until July 2, 2015 to correct your entry time if necessary.
As soon as you have paid your registration fee, you will see a new tab called Sport Entries. This is where you will be able to make your individual entries by sports.
Yes, for Swimming Individual Events, there are qualification times. You will see the entry time for each event by age category when registering. You will not be allowed to enter a time slower than qualification times.
No, there are no qualification standards for the other disciplines.
Each discipline has its own rules and limitations in the number of events you can enter. You can find all the information in the Entry Booklet.
You need to put your best time in 50m pool – LCM – ideally swum within the last year.
You can use conversion tables that you will find on the web. They will convert your times from yards to meters or from 25m to 50m (LCM).
Only coaches and/or captain are able to register a team. For this, you have to be registered as a coach or as an athlete with additional function of coach/captain. This will give you the ability to see a specific team entry tab where you will be able to see the people of your club and create a team.
The deadline for relays/team events registration is July 2, 2015. Only those registered for the World Championships by deadline of June 15 will be able to register for relays.
Once the person has registered for the FINA World Masters Championships, they will be directed to the payment page to pay their Registration Fee. Until this first payment is made, it is not possible to go further with the registration.
Afterwards, the person will be allowed to make Sport Entries (individual and team registrations), each Sport Entry will generate a fee to be paid (all Sport Entries made in the same time will generate one single invoice). Sport Entries will be validated only, once the specific fees are paid.
The only method of payment accepted is by a credit card. Visa and MasterCard are the only brands accepted.
Fees are divided into two categories:
1. Registration Fee which is a fixed amount of 60 USD for athletes and 40 USD for coaches and accompanying people
2. Entry Fee which is paid for each registration by event

All fees paid are not refundable. You may change events within a discipline (prior to the registration deadline) but you will not be able to get a refund.

Yes, inside the discipline, the fees paid are transferable. For example, if you registered and paid for 50m freestyle, but later decide that you prefer to compete in 200m backstroke instead, you will not have to repay an Entry Fee. However, fees paid in one discipline are not transferable to another discipline (e.g. from Open Water to Swimming). Changes can be made up until 15 June 2015.
To get the accreditation for accompanying persons, it is necessary to pass online registration through the FINA GMS following the link https://registration.fina.org/ and make an online payment for the accompanying individual. Accredited accompanying persons receive accreditation badges at the same Accreditation Centre as the athletes.
All participants (athletes, coaches, managers, team representatives and other accompanying persons) should visit the Accreditation Centre upon arrival to go through the accreditation procedure and receive accreditation badges.

A simplified procedure of obtaining Russian visas is intended for the confirmed participants of the Masters Championships.
A single-entry humanitarian visa valid during the period between July 15, 2015 and August 20, 2015 will be issued by the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation on the basis of an official Letter of Invitation provided by the Organising Committee.
The Letter of Invitation is the official invitation letter issued by the Organising Committee that declares and confirms the participant’s intention to participate in the Championships and allows getting the Russian entry visa. The Invitation Letter is required during the visa application procedure to be done by the individual at the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation in the country of residence.
The Letter of Invitation provided by the Organising Committee is not valid for travelling and entering the Russian Federation and by no means will be considered by border control authorities. The aim of the Letter of Invitation is solely to initiate and support official visa application procedure.
The participant must apply for the official Letter of Invitation through the FINA General Management System (FINA GMS) by the deadline June 15, 2015 at 21:59 (GMT).
Upon receiving the Letter of Invitation, the participant is to collect all the documents in accordance with the requirements of the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation and submit them to the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation no earlier than May 1, 2015 together with the Invitation issued by the Organising Committee.

Yes, provided departure from the territory of the Russian Federation is by August 20, 2015.
The visa issuing process is proposed to be free of any consulate or visa fees provided that the visa application is made through the Embassy/Consulate of the Russian Federation.
Please note that all the fees charged by the agencies as well as all other expenses related to the visa application are to be paid by the applicant and will not be refunded by the Organising Committee.

Application terms and conditions may vary from one country to another. Every Embassy/Consulate reserves the right to require additional documents to process your application.
The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the expiry date of the visa, i.e. until February 20, 2016.

No. The Organising Committee does not cover the expenses for the transfer between airports. The fastest way is to take the Aeroexpress to railway stations and metro stations in Moscow.
The Organising Committee provides a free return transfer from the official points of arrival to the Accreditation Centre.
The information on arrival should be submitted to the Organising Committee no later than 1 month prior to the event.
The schedule of shuttle bus times is drawn based on the data entered by participants in the FINA GMS.

The Village consists of 28 buildings intended for the participants’ accommodation and offers a large panel of services and a comfortable residential zone.
The Athletes’ Village check-in procedure for delegates will commence on August 2, 2015.
